  • Grant Green's third album, Grantstand was recorded on 1 August and released soon after. It found master guitarist Grant teaming up with Yusef Lateef (tenor saxophone and flute), Ben Ticker (bass), Brother Jack McDuff (organ) and Al Harewood (drums)/5(34).
  • It is a very good scene but I believe the reason it was deleted can be summed up: redundancy. The very next scene in the flow of the movie would be Brian telling Carl and Dennis why he's choosing to stop touring. I'm holding out hope that there are more deleted scenes on the Blu-ray/DVD, than the four included on iTunes, doubt it though.

  • JCM's album "UhHuh" is one of the best pieces of lo-fi, garage-rock you will ever find. It's also one of the best pieces of folk-rock you'll ever find. It is ALSO a great musical artifact. I hesitate to dissect these tunes. The meaning runs on so many different levels/5().

  • There are 2 different versions of this song (probably because it is just so awesome). There is Hedwig's version, and then Tommy Gnosis' version- I am partial to Hedwig's version. It may even be my favorite song ever. That very last scene of the film (where Tommy is singing Wicked Little Town) is very sad and made me cry the first few times I /5(95).
